Doesn't the increased cost of trans-world transportation displace/make up for the monetary gain of comparative advantage? If comparative advantage is a farce than global trade does not make a sum wealth and is therefore purely exploitation.
At the very least, cross-world transportation cuts into the creation of wealth for all, minimizing the pertinency/value of this argument for globalization justification and comparatively increasing the value of the exploitation or redistribution of wealth argument as a cause/motivator for globalization.
